TABS on Fedelta POS       

This guide provides essential instructions for effectively using the tabs feature in Fedelta's POS system, enhancing order management and customer service. By following the steps outlined, users can easily create, manage, and process tabs, allowing for a streamlined experience in handling multiple orders. Additionally, the guide offers tips for maximizing efficiency, making it a valuable resource for anyone looking to improve their operational workflow in a busy environment. 

 

1. Locate the tabs option in Fedelta (this is also located in Options > Orders

2. Click on "Configure Tab" to create a new tab 

3.Enter in a 3. Tab Name, dollar limit, and if desired a start and end time of the tab.

4. To open the tab, select your tab, click on "recall tab" 

5.Enter the items you wish to add to the tab and then hit "update" to send those items to the kitchen/charge to the tab.

6. If you add items to the basket first, before opening the tab, you can still add your items in the basket to the tab. All you need to do is once you have added the items to the basket, tap on "Tabs", select the tab you wish to charge, and then instead of tapping on "recall tab" tap on "add to tab". 


  • Tip! You can close the tab, and print the tab bill from the tabs screen. To pay the tab, just open the tab as if you were going to charge something to the tab, then process the payment by pressing the total button or another tender type, just like you would for a fast sale.
